Privacy Policy for FauxPost

FauxPost is a Chrome Extension that allows users to visually rewrite the appearance of LinkedIn posts within their own browser. FauxPost is designed with privacy in mind and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

What FauxPost Does

• Stores modified post data locally in the user’s browser using chrome.storage.local.
• Generates shareable links that encode user-provided content into the URL. These links are only shared if the user chooses to copy and distribute them.

What FauxPost Does Not Do

• No data is collected, tracked, or sent to any server.
• No ads, analytics, cookies, or external scripts are used.
• No third parties have access to any user data.

Compliance

FauxPost complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including all Limited Use restrictions.
